Greystone is pleased to announce that Aberdeen Heights, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community in Kirkwood, Missouri, owned and operated by Presbyterian Manors of MId-America (PMMA), is 100% sold and occupied in its independent living residences. 

Located on an 18-acre campus, Aberdeen Heights offers 234 independent living apartments, 30 assisted living apartments, 15 memory care residences, and 38 skilled nursing beds. Since opening in 2011, the community has provided a full continuum of care and a vibrant residential experience for older adults in the St. Louis market. 

Greystone’s partnership with PMMA spans more than two decades, beginning with the development of Aberdeen Village in Olathe, Kansas. After that community’s successful fill-up in 2003, PMMA sought to expand into the broader St. Louis market, leading to the development of Aberdeen Heights, which opened in 2011 and reached stabilized occupancy in 2013. Independent living occupancy later plateaued at 74% due to attrition and the impacts of the pandemic. To improve occupancy after revising their entrance fees, PMMA partnered with Greystone for specialized sales and marketing assistance.

Through a comprehensive, data-driven strategy, Greystone worked alongside Aberdeen Heights to design and execute a marketing and sales plan that reinvigorated interest in the community, enhanced lead generation, and empowered the onsite team with tools, training, and support to drive long-term success. The collaborative approach included refining sales practices, launching a consistent schedule of engaging community events, and enhancing prospect experiences through improved spaces for discovery and tours. Greystone also provided ongoing coaching, reporting, and onsite support, helping the sales team strengthen performance and increase conversions. 

Today, less than two and a half years later, Aberdeen Heights stands at 100% sold and occupied—an achievement that has stabilized the community’s finances generating over $61 million in new entrance fee revenue.
